the United States and internationally as well as having published many articles on contact lens related topics. Currently, he is serving as the Optometric Editor of INFORMED OD an Alcon Laboratories
sponsored electronic newsletter. Previously, he served as the Contact Lens Editor for Optometry Today as well as authoring a monthly column for Spectrum on corneal topography. He has performed
extensive clinical investigations for all of the major contact lens and solution manufacturers and has served on a variety of industry advisory panels. A charter member and Past Chair of the AOA
Contact Lens Section, he was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Contact Lens Council. Dr. Lebow received the Rodger Kame Meritorious Service Award from the AOA Cornea and Contact Lens
Section in 2004. Formerly, he held the rank of an Associate Professor of Optometry, Clinical Research Consultant, for the New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA, and Adjunct Professor for the
Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Currently he holds a faculty position at Vistakon's The Vision Care Institute as well as, maintaining a private practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he

he had been the director of the Southeastern Laser and Refractive Center in Greensboro, North Carolina from 1991-2005. Dr. Stonecipher received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry from
Southern Methodist University. His medical degree was obtained from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and his residency in Ophthalmology was at Tulane University from 1987 through
1990. He spent 18 months in a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship with Dr. J. James Rowsey at the McGee Eye Institute. Dr. Stonecipher has additional basic science education from Stanford
University prior to starting in practice at Southeastern Eye Center. With more than 100 book chapters, abstracts and articles published, Dr. Stonecipher speaks both nationally and internationally on
refractive and corneal surgery. Dr. Stonecipher has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1992. His memberships include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International
Society for Refractive Surgeons, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is currently involved in FDA trials for the Study
of Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He recently received the Acheivement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is listed one of the Top Fifty Ophthalmologist by Cataract and
Refractive Surgery Today. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dr. Stonecipher and his wife, Lynne, have two children, Megan and Kody, and live in Greensboro, North Carolina.
